Once in a while the firmware on the Saphe Drive needs to updated. When there is a new firmware update you will be notified in the app. In the app menu> "Devices" you will be able to click on your "Saphe Drive" and the firmware update will start.
The update does not start
In some cases, you may find that the update will not start:
If this happens then connect your Saphe Drive to another phone or tablet to update the firmware. Once the firmware is properly updated using another phone or tablet, you can reconnect your traffic alarm to your own phone. Remember to remove the device from the other phone or tablet before reconnecting to your own phone again. The easiest way to do this is simply by deleting the app completely.
The update does not complete
In other cases, you may find that the installation is not completed, and you will often see a large arrow pointing downwards on your Saphe Drive screen. If this is the case, try connecting your Saphe Drive to your phone again. Go to the menu> "Devices" and make sure your Saphe Drive is connected. You will usually be able to find a Saphe Drive in the list of "Unknown / Other Devices" called "Saphe Drive DFU" in these cases, tap on the "Saphe Drive DFU" and the firmware update will start again.
