Android Auto

More and more drivers are getting the opportunity to use Android Auto in their cars. This is really smart as they can then see what is going on on the phone. In order for the Saphe Link app to be used on this platform, a special version must be made for this. At the moment we have launched our app on Apple Carplay, but unfortunately not on Android Auto yet, and it is therefore not certain that the Saphe Link app will work properly if you use it at the same time as Android Auto - however, it is intended that Saphe Link will also support Android Auto in the future.

Using Android Auto with the Saphe Link app, you may find that the speed does not match reality. The reason for this is that as soon as you put the cable in the phone, the Android Auto either turns off or weakens the phone's GPS signal, and Saphe Link is dependent on the phone's GPS signal, so that the speed does not appear correctly or you do not get alarms when you need to.

We are currently working on a solution for the above.
