If you cannot connect to your Saphe device, it will not sound alarms, and common to all of them, you may experience the following:


  • You don't get alarms
  • It doesn't say "Connected" by your device in the Saphe Link app > menu > Devices
  • An icon of your Saphe device will not appear in the top right corner of the app (as shown in the screenshot below from a phone)



Each Saphe device also has special features and possible solutions that appear when it is not connected. Before you go ahead with them, if you have any doubts about whether your device is on or off, you can read here how to turn it on.


  • If your Saphe One is not connected, shortly after you start driving it will give a siren and at the same time flash yellow and red - Saphe One / Saphe One+ signals at startup
  • If connected, it should flash blue and give two "beeps", however, this can happen before the trip starts, and therefore may not always be heard
  • If in doubt, in addition to checking in the app, you can hold down the blue button until it gives a "beep" and then release the button
    • It gives a siren and flashes blue if it is connected
    • It will turn green if the power is off
    • It gives a "beep" but no siren if it is not connected
  • If your Saphe One is not connected, shortly after you start driving it will give a siren and at the same time flash yellow and red - Saphe One / Saphe One+ signals at startup
  • It gives two "beeps" and flashes green when connected
  • If in doubt, press the blue button for 5 seconds
    • It will flash slowly green if connected
    • It does not illuminate when you press the button, if it is off - Press and hold the red button until it flashes green, to turn it on again
  • If your Saphe Drive is not connected, it will only display "saphe drive" on the screen
    • If the Bluetooth icon appears, the device will try to find a mobile device with which it is paired
  • If the screen shows speed, it is connected
  • If the screen shows nothing, it is off or hibernating
    • Hold down the center button for 3 seconds to turn the device on
    • If it's just hypernating, a single push on the middle button is enough to awake the device
  • If it says "saphe drive" and it does not connect, press the center button once. The Bluetooth icon starts to flash, and if the app is open, it should be possible to find and connect to your Saphe Drive
  • Saphe MC gives two "beeps" when connected
  • Briefly press the button
    • It glow green if the power is off
    • It glows red if it is on

My Saphe is ready to connect, but it doesn't connect to my phone

If your Saphe is ready to connect but does not connect to your phone, it may be because:

  • Your Saphe is not yet paired with your phone
  • Your Saphe will not appear under "Devices" in the app
    • Make sure Bluetooth is turned on, on your phone
    • Make sure your Saphe is not connected to another phone or tablet
    • Try turning Bluetooth off and on again on your phone
    • Try restarting the phone
      • Android: hold down the power button and press "Restart"
      • iPhone: Restart iPhone
    • Contact support
  • Your Saphe continuously "Connects" but it does not become "Connected"
