There may be several reasons why your Saphe alarm does not sound an alarm when it should:

  • The alarm may not have been registered yet, so you are the first user to report the alarm
  • The app has not been able to access the internet for a long time and therefore has not been able to download the alarm on your phone
  • The app has not received information from the phone's GPS or these have not been updated frequently enough, so the app does not know exactly where you are and therefore what alarms it should give you
  • The connection between the alarm and the app may be lost
    • On a Saphe One, you will hear an alarm if you are moving and the alarm is not connected to the app
    • On a Saphe Drive, you will see the "saphe drive" logo on the screen if there is no connection
    • On a Saphe MC you will hear an alarm if you are moving and the alarm is not connected to the app
  • The app has stopped running on the phone and therefore the phone can no longer connect to your Saphe traffic alert

If you experience not getting an alarm when you need to (or getting one when you should not), you should contact support and state where and when the problem occurred.
